Following the EEAS conference on creating a global network of crisis rooms which took place in Brussels on December 4 2013, the EEAS published a report on the topic through the EU Institute for Security Studies:

February 10 2014, Rotterdam: Luigi Rebuffi invited to speak by the Swedish Civil Contengencies Agency (MSB) and the National Coordinator for Counter-terrorism and Security (NCTV) at the 4th bi-annual international conference on National Safety & Security on "Public-Private Partnerships".

EOS has been awarded the FP7 POP-ALERT project which aims to begin in the third quarter of 2013 and last for 2 years. The main objective of POP-ALERT is to prepare societies and populations to cope with crisis and disasters in a rapid, effective and efficient way by blending traditional Crisis Preparedness & First-Reaction strategies with the use of innovative contemporary tools.
