On the 21st of December 2020,
Big Data Value Association (BDVA)/DAIRO and the European Organisation for Security (EOS) signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) to strengthen their relation and develop joint activities in the areas of Big Data and AI for security. The two associations share common interests for the promotion of AI and data analytics research and development in this domain and wish to ensure this aspect is duly covered under the upcoming AI, Data and Robotics Partnership of which BDVA is one of the main promoters.
Through this MoC, the two associations have agreed to:
- Collaborate closely in the definition of joint roadmaps, projects and events concerning AI and Big Data in the security application domain.
- Collaborate further on specific BDVA and EOS activities (e.g., Task Forces, working groups) bringing together the Security Domain, and Data, Artificial intelligence and Robotics.
Specific activities for collaborations will be defined through separate work plans, validated by both associations. More details on upcoming activities, and particularly concerning a first joint workshop, will be shared at the beginning of January.
EOS looks forward to starting 2021 with this newly established cooperation in place and is eager to work closely with BDVA/DAIRO.
