The SAFECARE project is researching a new form of security system for healthcare infrastructure that integrates both cyber and physical security into an overarching security infrastructure. Involving twenty-one partner organisations from 10 different countries, SAFECARE will be trialling a new, integrated security system at three European hospitals, after the development of the system has finished.
The Awareness Event will be an opportunity to discuss the technical aspects of the project and the underlying technologies, with a view to furthering the exploitation and uptake of the project. Also present will be representatives of other European projects in the security field who will also present their work and contribute their knowledge to the discussions. The event will be chaired by Olivier Theveneau, from the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Marseille and coordinator of the project.
