i-LEAD (H2020 – GA Number: 740685)

The I-LEAD project is a joint initiative from the core group of the European Network of Law Enforcement Technology Services (ENLETS). The project will go beyond the scope of ENLETS, since it is designed to integrate security research, and will connect security research with the European Agenda on Security to strengthen the cross border crime fighting, setting the perimeters for technology Pan-European cooperation between Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA), Industry and research community.

The I-LEAD will build upon and enhance the technological effectiveness, efficiencies, and capabilities of LEA’s across Europe via a strategic framework of activity that will bring together individual efforts in the crime investigation arena to create an improved and interconnected, consolidated force. The aim of which is to seek out and identify appropriate past and present technological initiatives, innovation and research to contribute to build, augmentation and advancement of the development of the LEA Network.
